Kamiron joined the Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home and Family Ministries staff in June of 2023 as a Foster Care & Adoption specialist for the Alexandria region. Kamiron works to serve children and families in need by connecting with and equipping churches for foster care and adoption ministries. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from the University of Louisiana at Monroe in May of 2022. Kamiron went on to obtain her Master of Social Work with a concentration in Healthcare/Behavioral Health from Louisiana Christian University in May of 2023. During her graduate course work, Kamiron was an intern for the Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home for the child and family services department.

Christy joined the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home & Family Ministries staff in May 2019 as a Foster Care and Adoption Specialist for the Shreveport region. Christy received a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Louisiana Tech University and a Master of Social Work from Stephen F. Austin State University. A native to Shreveport, Christy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience in medical social work, school social work and private adoption. She and her family also had the opportunity to serve as foster parents in Orleans Parish in 2017-18 while her husband attended New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
Christy is passionate about individuals, families, churches and organizations working together to respond to the current foster care crisis. When asked about her favorite part of her job, Christy said, "When a gospel-centered person or family answers the call to foster, I love seeing their friends, families and church members wrap around them with practical support and prayer. With Connect 1 Child, no one fosters alone."
