The
Children's Home is a Christian childcare agency located in Monroe,
Louisiana. The Home provides residential childcare for as many as
120 children grades kindergarten through twelfth, foster family
care for preschool children and children needing more individual
care, family counseling provided through the Granberry Family Ministries
Center, maternity care for young unwed girls and adoption services
through Sellers Maternity Home.
Referrals are
often as simple as a phone call. The Children's Home learns of children
in need of care usually through concerned adults. Many times, a
referral is made by a church's pastor. Welfare case workers, judges,
teachers, friends and relatives refer children to the Home.
