Granberry Staff

As committed professional Christian counselors, we seek God's healing presence in the counseling relationship. We ask God to use our knowledge and skills to help those who come to us for counseling. Our counselors are professionally-trained licensed mental health professionals. Granberry Counseling Centers were established in 1996 through a gracious gift from Ray and Mary Anna Granberry.

Kathy Eichelberger has been serving as Director of the Granberry Counseling Centers since July 2009. Kathy has been a pastor's wife and served in many leadership roles in the local church. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and has a passion to help people who are hurting and going through difficult life circumstances. God has called Kathy to minister to people through counseling, while at the same time encouraging them to develop an authentic, intimate relationship with Christ. Kathy completed a Bachelor's degree, a Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Counseling and a Doctor of Ministry degree in Pastoral Counseling from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Amy Butler is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor. She attended Baylor University where she received her undergraduate degree. She then attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary where she received her Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and her Master's Degree in Religious Education. Amy worked in Texas for several years before moving back home to Louisiana. Amy works as the Granberry counselor in both Minden and Shreveport. She has been with Granberry since 2002. During that time, she has served as interim director through two transition periods. Amy works with individuals and families as they work toward healthy relationships. (EMDR Trained)

Lew Eaton is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Marriage and Family Therapist with over 20 years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families who struggle with the results of trauma, depression, anxiety, and marital difficulties. He received his undergraduate degree in 1994 and his Master of Divinity degree in Psychology and Counseling in 1997 from the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He completed the Harris Infant Mental Health Post Graduate Fellowship through Louisiana State University (2003) with a focus on Attachment Theory. Lew is a Louisiana Board Approved Supervisor of interns working on licensure as Professional Counselors and Marriage and Family Therapists. He is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and a certified Emotion Focused Therapist (EFT). Lew has been married to Anna for 24 years. She has homeschooled all three of their sons. Joshua is a computer software designer with GE, Caleb is a corporal in the Marines, and Micah is a junior in high school.

Belinda Edwards has a heart for helping people who are struggling with life issues. She has a desire to help individuals and families move to a stronger relationship with God. Belinda is a gifted and compassionate counselor. She has life experience as well as a master's degree in counseling from Northwestern State University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a member of the Louisiana Association of Substance Abuse Counselors and Trainers, the Louisiana Counseling Association, the American Psychological Association, and the Family Mediation Council. Belinda is the Granberry counselor serving in Leesville. (EMDR Certified)

Wendy J. Leger is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 25 years of counseling experience working with adults, adolescents, and children. She received a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1989 and a Ph.D. in Psychology and Counseling from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in 2015. Wendy is a board approved clinical supervisor for social workers and a certified ropes course facilitator. She has led various corporate, leadership, school, church, and court-ordered groups in team-building experiential exercises to build trust, communication, and problem-solving skills. Wendy has a heart and passion to help people resolve current difficulties in their lives. She has a strong relationship with God and wants to provide people with the hope and love of Christ. Wendy is the Granberry counselor serving in Baton Rouge at two locations. (EMDR Trained)

Skylar Artigue is a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor who has been trained to work with individuals, couples, families, children, adolescents and groups in a multitude of counseling theories including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Brief Solution-Focused Therapy, Parent Child Relationship Training, and Trauma. Skylar works from a Christian worldview and views the counseling process holistically. She desires for her clients to heal emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Skylar received her undergraduate degree from the University of Louisiana at Monroe in Communication Studies in 2012 and recently graduated from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary with her Masters of Marriage and Family Therapy in December 2015. She has worked in a number of different ministry positions throughout college. Skylar believes that counseling is the vocation which God has called her to, and she plans to be equipped in every way to help her clients meet their goals. (EMDR Trained)

Justin Kelly is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has experience working with individuals, couples, and families. Justin specializes in couples therapy where he is Prepare-Enrich certified and is a PREP marriage enrichment facilitator. He has also been trained in numerous approaches to counseling. Justin completed his undergraduate studies at Delta State University. He earned a Master of Divinity degree in Counseling, a Master of Theology degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Ph.D. in psychology and Counseling from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Justin has diverse work experience, having previously worked in an inpatient psychiatric facility as well as experience starting a non-profit counseling ministry within the local church. Justin enjoys working with diverse populations with a diverse range of needs to provide people with the hope and love of Christ. He approaches counseling from an integrative point of view, utilizing both Scripture and theology, as well as the best research from psychology and science to provide the most comprehensive care possible. Justin and his wife, Christi, have two boys. They enjoy spending time together outdoors, especially the park. (EMDR Trained)

Kellie Rogers is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 16 years of experience counseling individuals, couples, families, and groups. She works with people of all ages including children, adolescents, and adults. Kellie earned a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Louisiana College in Pineville, Louisiana, in 1997, and a Master of Social Work degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in 1999. She is also a Board Approved Clinical Supervisor. Kellie began sensing God's call to help people who are hurting at the age of sixteen. Her desire is to help people through challenging life experiences to come to a place of resolution. She has a strong love for God and wants her clients to have hope for their future. Kellie has been married for 19 years and she and her husband have been an active part of the Alexandria area for over 14 years. God has blessed them with two children by birth and two children through adoption. Kellie is the Granberry counselor serving in Alexandria and Natchitoches. (EMDR Trained)

Maranda Young is a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor and a Provisional Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She has experience working with couples in premarital and marital work. She is certified in Prepare/Enrich for couples and also Level 1 trained in Gottman Couples Therapy. Maranda works primarily with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Brief Solution Focused Therapy. Maranda operates from a biblical worldview. However, she respects the individual beliefs and needs of each client and will only incorporate this if the client shares a similar worldview or specifically requests this approach. Maranda completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Louisiana at Monroe in 2012 and received her Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in 2015. Her philosophy of counseling is a collaborative effort between the counselor and client to work towards a place of greater health and competence in dealing with the struggles of life. Maranda and her husband, Michael, are natives of North Louisiana. She is thrilled to be serving her home community. Michael is a middle school assistant principal and worship pastor at First Baptist Church Wisner. They enjoy traveling, laughing with friends, cuddling with their dog, Hobson, and loving on their son, Nicholas. (EMDR Trained)

Charlene Taylor is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience counseling individuals, couples, families, and groups. She works with children (8 years and over), adolescents, and adults. Charlene has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Master of Arts in Counseling from Louisiana Tech University. She has provided specialized trauma counseling to victims of sexual and physical abuse. She has worked with women and children who were survivors of domestic violence. She also has experience working with senior adults. She is experienced in working with couples on marital difficulties. Common issues that she has addressed in counseling are: stress, adjustment issues to a life change or crisis, depression, anxiety, mental illness, family conflict, marital problems, parenting issues, spiritual issues, anger, PTSD, grief, phobias, personal growth, job stress, and communication. Charlene's objectives are to daily be used by God as salt and light. She desires to demonstrate her love for Christ and for others by using her skills and experience to help people find direction, make healthy choices and improve their quality of life. Charlene is the Granberry counselor serving North Monroe and surrounding areas. (EMDR Trained)
