Women’s Job Corps of Monroe, a ministry
of the Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home
and Family Ministries, will provide you with the
following opportunities:

- Computer Skills - Basic
Computer Skills, Microsoft WORD 2010, EXCEL
2010, and PowerPoint 2010
- American Red Cross Certification
in First Aid and CPR
- Job Training - How to make
yourself a valuable employee
- Life Skills - How to keep
your personal life ordered so you don’t
lose your job when life falls apart
- GED Prep

Offered?
Two Sessions
Annually - Classes meet Tuesday, Wednesday, and
Thursdays, 8:30 am - 2:00 pm |
- Fall 2011: August 30 –
November 17
- Spring 2012: January 10
– March 22

Of This Program? |
CWJC is provided at no cost to women in the community
who would like to prepare for their GED and/or
improve their job skills and begin a career. |
| How do I
qualify for the program? |
| An applicant must … |
- Be at least 17 or older
- Have a desire to learn
- Be healthy enough to work
at least part-time
- Have a financial need
to work
