Resident from 1943 - 1951
I arrived at LBCH in 1943. What a blessing! Three hot meals daily, a warm place to sleep, and shoes. Churches throughout the state sponsored each child for clothing, shoes, and our physical needs. We called it "Our Box." At 12 years old, I worked at the barn. Frank Stevens became a lifetime mentor to me. Mr. Franks had unlimited time for every one of us. He touched oir hearts and impacted lives evrywhere. God bless him.
