Dear Friend of Children,
Zoe* is very thankful to be living at the Children's Home. We are her third foster care placement. Her younger siblings are in foster care in another city. Their biological parents were unable to properly care for them and they were recently removed from the home where they were staying due to neglect and abuse.
Zoe is incredibly grateful to be in a safe, caring home where her medical needs are being addressed and she is loved unconditionally by her cottage parents.
Zoe is a sweet spirited, eleven year old girl who loves school. She's excited about starting art classes on our campus. And she really enjoys going to her church (she actually takes notes on her pastor's sermons!).
I cannot thank you enough for providing a place for Zoe to take a breath, to heal, to learn to trust people, and to feel safe, because most of her life, she hasn't felt safe.
Please know that your Thanksgiving gift will make immediate and eternal differences for so many children like Zoe who come into our care. You are helping them experience the healing, hope, and unconditional love of Jesus they so desperately need.
Thank you for your concern and compassion for our children! May our Lord bless you and your family with a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday.
For the Children,
Perry Hancock, Ph.D. President and CEO
