Resident from 1958 - 1966

My biggest memories while living at the Home are "going over" to work in the dining hall, playing with dolls on a blanket outside, everybody going swimming except me (because I couldn't swim), the changing of the churches, one of the girls washing her hair in beer (we all got in trouble, but nobody would admit it), Linda fainting while we were all standing (we all started the rumor she was pregnant, but she was not).
